Spring Forward Day

Hope everyone remember to do this. Today it is Sunny, yay!! Snow and ice are melting, woot, woot! And as much as I would like to think we are done with the Winter weather I will hold back on putting my boots away, lol. March as we all know can be a fickle month.

Looking forward to getting out and running some much needed errands this coming week. Hope everyone has a great Sunday, enjoy it the best way you can.

Monday, Monday

We are in a holding pattern with our weather, cold, breezy (see that I used breezy, not windy), snow coming later tonite, hmm...sounds like a broken record.

But we must move along, washer in the back ground means it's a wash day, I try not to wash clothes on the weekend or at least not Sunday, would like to think that is my day of rest. For two people we sure do have lots of laundry, lol.

Later this week Les (hubby) and I have an appointment with a potential client who may want to send some of his treasures to auction, so I will let you know the outcome of that. We were happy to get that call, it proves that advertising no matter how small or big does work.

Have a good day, I am going outside around lunch when the Sun will be high in the sky to move some snow, wish me luck :-).

Happy Presidents' Day friends.

Mid-Week

Off to our booth at Weil Antiques Center today. Sale starts tomorrow, so I need to add a few things and freshen it. Sale runs thru Tuesday, so it covers St.Valentine's Day and Presidents Day. Check it out if you live in the area.

Bright sun shining today, should go above 32, yippy!! But, I believe that might be it for temps above freezing for a few days :-(.

Have a great day!

Wednesday's Words

Not a whole lot of things going on at Ginnysyard.

We took a ride to a consignment shop that we heard is going out of business to drop off Les' auction business cards. The lady at the desk said the owner has spoken to auctioneers just has not made a decision, so she is going to pass along the info. Hopefully he will hear something. Winter is a slow time for auctions, especially when you are just getting started, lots of advertising, phone ringing, door knocking just to get your name and face out there.

We got above freezing today, but the sun was not as strong as yesterday, so very little melting is going on.

Hope you are having a wonderful day. I will check in again.

In Like A Lamb

Well, March rolled in like a lamb. And, boy was it ever nice out today. Sun shining bright, birds singing, I even stood outside on the jobsite and talked a while with my people. Did you know I had people? That's what I call the sub-contractors that work with me, MY PEOPLE. We are headed out tomorrow to meet up with a couple of other antique dealer friends to do a little shopping, thank goodness we don't deal in too much of the same thing, or their could be trouble, LOL. Hope everyone is enjoying their evening and doing what makes you happy. Almost forgot, I picked up Country Sampler's Home Tour Edition 2011, only just started going through it, and I like what I see. Take Care
