Well, they hatched. Our resident pair, a.k.a Mr. & Mrs. Goose have been here for about 2 months. For the last month she has been sitting on her nest. Well yesterday we watched her, fussing and fixing. She just could not get comfortable. Well, now we know why. The goslings must have been pecking the eggs to get out. She even got off the nest to take a bath. She must have wanted to look good for the big event! LOL I only spotted one this morning, but I'm sure there are more. When we can we will get some pictures of the next generation.
What fun! Our pair of geese are back too and I'm sure the little ones will be strutting across the back yard soon. Always a sure sign of spring. Enjoy, Dawn
